The variety is classified as winter, the fruit consumption period lasts from November to February. Historically, the tree is described as vigorous with a wide crown, however, modern height characteristics often depend on the rootstock used.

The fruits have a pear-shaped or cone-shaped form and a golden-yellow color, sometimes with a blush. The flesh is white, very juicy, buttery, and possesses a distinct aroma. The variety is considered winter-hardy and resistant to scab and brown spot, and is intended for dessert use.
