The tree is vigorous, with energetic development at a young age, forms a pyramidal crown and reaches a height of 3–5 meters. Fruits weighing 130–200 g have a blunt-conical or bottle shape. The skin is firm, rough, yellow-green at harvest, and turns yellow upon ripening with characteristic bronze-orange russeting.

The fruit flesh is white or yellowish-white, very juicy, with a buttery consistency and a spicy aroma. The variety is an autumn one, ripening in early September. The tree is sensitive to scab and late spring frosts during the flowering period, and is self-sterile. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
