The variety was obtained as a result of open pollination of the Doyenné du Comice variety. The tree is characterized by medium vigor, forms a pyramidal crown at a young age, which becomes more spreading over time. The variety is self-sterile; Conference and Williams are recommended for pollination.

The fruits have a regular pear shape, yellow-brown skin with a possible red blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, buttery, juicy, and has a sweet-and-sour taste. The fruits are distinguished by good keeping quality, retaining consumer qualities for up to three months.

The variety is characterized as having stable yields with medium winter hardiness. High resistance to diseases, including fire blight, is noted.
