The tree has moderate vigor, forming a spreading, slightly drooping crown with thin branches. The variety enters bearing early and produces a regular yield. Due to self-sterility, pollinators that bloom during the same period, such as Williams, Clapp's Favorite, or Bosc, are required to obtain fruit.
Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 100–140 g, and have a typical pear-shaped, slightly conical form. The skin is smooth, thin, greenish-yellow with a red blush. The flesh is white-yellow, juicy, melting, sweet with a tart note and a spicy aroma. The fruits ripen in July and are not suitable for long-term storage.
