CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is medium-sized, forming a spreading, drooping or spherical crown with thin branches. The variety is relatively winter-hardy, demanding of soil and climatic conditions, and exhibits high resistance to scab. Trees are partially self-fertile; for improved yield, the presence of pollinator varieties is recommended.
Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 70–120 g, pear-shaped, with thin greenish-yellow skin, small grey dots and a bright red blush on the sunny side. The white flesh has a delicate, melting texture, high juiciness and a pronounced muscat aroma.
The variety has an early-summer maturity period; harvest maturity occurs on July 20–25. Fruits have poor keeping quality; it is recommended to harvest them a week before full maturity and consume them immediately after softening.
