The tree is of medium vigor, reaching 4–5 meters, with a tendency to upright growth and numerous twisted branches. The variety is hardy and possesses good resistance to diseases, particularly to scab, although it may show low winter hardiness on heavy soils.
The fruit is of medium size, weighing 70–100 g, with a regular pear shape. The skin is thin, greenish-yellow, with a reddish blush on the sun-exposed side and brownish dots. The flesh is white or whitish-yellow, tender, melting, and juicy.
The fruit ripening period falls between the end of July and the beginning of August. The taste is dessert-like, sweet, with slight acidity, spicy aroma, and wine notes. The fruit does not store long, from 3 to 14 days, and is intended primarily for fresh consumption.
