The HW 623 tree is characterized by high productivity and a vigorous growth type. A key feature is high resistance to fire blight.
Medium-sized fruits have a yellow ground color with an orange-red blush on the sunny side. The flesh is cream or creamy-white, buttery and juicy, with a sweet taste. The fruits are not prone to russeting on the surface.
The ripening period of the variety is close to that of the Conference variety and occurs at the end of August.
