ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is characterized by a vigorous, upright growth habit and the ability to enter the fruiting stage early when grown on dwarfing rootstocks. In the climate of Norway, the variety shows no serious winter damage.
The fruits are large, of a classic pear shape with yellow-green skin covered with russeting. The juicy and sweet flesh tastes similar to the Conference variety, but has a softer and slightly granular texture. The variety is characterized by resistance to pear scab and European canker.
