CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the category of heirloom or local varieties. It is characterized by morphological features: the leaves resemble oak leaves, and the fruits have an ovary with three chambers instead of five. It possesses low productivity and fruit quality in comparison with modern commercial varieties.
In scientific research, the variety is noted as having low susceptibility to fire blight (Erwinia amylovora), however, it is susceptible to scab (Venturia pirina). Due to these properties, it is used primarily in breeding as a source of resistance or for collection conservation.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
