CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is characterized by very vigorous growth and is capable of reaching an age of over one hundred years. The variety typically has an almost always twisted trunk with rough, 'oak-like' bark, which allows it to be identified even in winter.
The fruits of the variety are traditionally classified as culinary pears. During prolonged heat treatment, they retain their consistency and taste qualities well.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
