The tree is weak-growing or medium-sized, with a pyramidal crown that becomes spreading with age. The variety is compatible with quince rootstock and prefers warm, deep, and nutritious soils. It is partially self-fertile; the best pollinators are Saint-Germain, Doyenné d'Hiver, Bergamote d'Esperen, Beurré Bosc, and Williams.
The fruits are oblate, apple-shaped, weighing 150–200 g, and reaching 400–600 g with good care. The skin is gray-green with russeting, becoming pale yellow upon ripening. The flesh is yellowish-white, melting, with a pronounced sweet taste and an almond aftertaste. Harvesting maturity occurs in October; the fruits can be stored until March.
