The Paradiso variety (also known as Confittaru or Confettaro) is a local genotype widespread in the Mount Etna area in Sicily. It represents a traditional element of the regional germplasm pool and is not a commercial industrial variety.
The plant belongs to the 'low chill' category, which means it requires a short period of low temperatures to activate flowering and fruiting processes. In scientific studies, the variety is mainly examined in the context of genome analysis and phenological characteristics.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
