The tree is characterized by high growth vigor and an upright habit. With proper pruning, the variety is characterized by intense and constant productivity. The variety is relatively demanding regarding soil and climatic conditions, especially heat, while being resistant to scab and fruit drop.

The fruits are nearly spherical or rounded in shape, have thick, durable yellow-green skin, often with russeting. The whitish flesh has a characteristic graininess, is juicy, melting, with a sweet aroma and pleasant acidity with astringency.

To improve fruiting, pollinator varieties such as Abate Fetel, Decana del Comizio, Williams, or Conference are recommended. The variety is versatile, suitable for both fresh consumption and culinary processing.
