Active

Pyrus communis L. European pear · Fruit crops

also searched as: пассе крассане

Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is low to medium-growing, forming a dense crown of pyramidal or broadly rounded shape. Fruits are large, weighing from 220 to 400 g, rounded or short-pyriform, with greenish-yellow skin with russet patches.

Fruits are harvested at the end of October; a storage period until January–March is required for ripening. The flesh is juicy, melting, sweet with a touch of acidity. The variety is self-infertile and requires pollinators and warm growing conditions.

The variety is susceptible to scab and fire blight. Fruits hold firmly to the branches and are resistant to dropping. Used primarily fresh as a table or dessert variety.
