The tree is characterized by vigorous growth. At a young age, the crown has a pyramidal shape, which becomes pendulous with age. The variety is often used as a rootstock or interstock when grafting other varieties onto quince due to its good compatibility.

The medium-sized fruits have smooth, thin skin that changes color from light green to bright yellow upon ripening. The fruit flesh is white, juicy, with a moderately high sugar content. The variety is characterized as healthy and blooms in mid-late terms.
