The variety is a landrace identified during projects for the conservation of fruit crop genetic resources. The harvest ripens in mid-August; the fruits have a classic pear shape and sulfur-yellow skin color.
The flesh of the fruit is firm, tends toward dryness, and the taste is described as semi-sweet and distinctive. The storage life of the fruits after harvest is approximately 14 days. The variety is suitable for direct fresh consumption.
