The variety belongs to the early category; fruits ripen in August or the first half of September. The fruit shape resembles the Bartlett variety; the skin has a green-yellow color or is covered with russeting. The flesh is characterized as juicy, sweet, and aromatic.

The tree has moderate vigor, an upright crown with spreading branches, and is prone to strong growth. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators. The yield of the variety can be low, which limits its commercial application.

The variety was evaluated for resistance to scab and fire blight. Currently, it is found more often in amateur gardens and genetic resource collections than in commercial horticulture.
