The variety is a seedling of the Konferencja pear variety. It belongs to autumn varieties, with its consumption maturity occurring a few days earlier than that of the parent variety.

The tree enters the bearing period early; yields are abundant and annual. The fruits are large and very large, the skin is shiny, with characteristic light russeting. The variety is intended for fresh consumption.
