The tree is vigorous, reaching 8 meters in height and width, forms a broad dome-shaped crown and lives up to 80–100 years. It enters bearing stage late, usually 10 or more years after planting. It bears fruit abundantly and annually; with excessive yield, periodicity and fruit size reduction are possible.

Fruits ripen in mid to late August and have a typical pear shape, sometimes bulbous with a curved tip. The fruit flesh is soft and juicy, with a sweet aroma. The variety is multipurpose: suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, drying, and the production of distillates.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness and resistance to Monilia, with moderate susceptibility to scab. Due to the large size of the tree, it requires significant space when planting.
