CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is medium-sized with a branched pyramidal crown and large leaves. The variety enters fruiting early and, under favorable conditions, fruits regularly. It is self-sterile and requires pollinator varieties. Incompatibility with quince rootstock is noted, which requires the use of an interstock.
The fruits are large, weighing 200–350 g, and have a short pear-shaped lumpy shape. The skin is thin, yellowish-green with small dark dots. The flesh is greenish-white with yellow veins, juicy, with a characteristic almond aroma. The variety is susceptible to scab, and the fruits have low transportability.
