The variety is a hybrid bred by breeder Holger Hachmann in 2023. The name was given in memory of the founder of the German rhododendron nursery, Fredo Schröder.

The plant features multicolored inflorescences, combining tones of yellow, pink, salmon, and cream colors. Detailed agronomic characteristics of the variety, such as height or disease resistance, have not been published at this time.
