Variety description

The bush is compact, grows moderately, reaching a height of about 1.2 m and a width of 1.4 m by 10 years of age, and 1.5–1.8 m in its mature state. The leaves are evergreen, dark green, elliptical, with a slightly wavy margin.

The flowers are large, 7–8 cm in diameter, collected in dense spherical inflorescences of 12–17 pieces. The color is dark blood-red with a dark black-red pattern in the center, and the petal edges are wavy. Flowering is late, from mid-May to mid-June.

The variety has winter hardiness down to –23...–25 °C (zone 5a) and above-average disease resistance. It prefers acidic, humus-rich, well-drained, and moist soils.
