A multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with an upright spreading crown shape, reaching a height of 120 cm and a width of 90 cm. The dark green narrow foliage possesses a gloss and may acquire a bronze tint during the winter period.
The plant forms semi-double medium-sized flowers with a diameter of about 5.7 cm. The variety is re-blooming: abundant spring flowering is followed by subsequent waves in summer and autumn.
Cold hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 6b–10b. Studies note susceptibility to Phytophthora root rot. The shrub structure is dense and upright, although in some conditions the plant may appear leggy with space from the ground.
