The variety is a dense evergreen shrub with an oval or slightly flattened crown shape. The plant is slow-growing, reaching a height of 0.5 to 0.8 m after 10 years. The foliage is dark green, leathery, lanceolate in shape with a faint sheen.
Flowering is early and abundant, usually taking place from mid-April to early May. Buds are salmon-pink, opened flowers are yellow-cream with an olive-green spotted pattern on the upper petal, their diameter is 5–6 cm.
The plant belongs to hardiness zone 6A and withstands temperatures down to -23...-27°C. The variety has resistance to drought and direct sunlight, suitable for cultivation in private gardens, parks, as well as in heather and oriental compositions.
