The variety belongs to the group of Indian azaleas. It is a compact shrub, having a semi-evergreen or semi-deciduous type in indoor conditions. The leaves have an elliptical or oval shape, are dark green in color, and are covered with pubescence.
The flowers are double, of a red-pink shade, sometimes with dark speckling, reaching 7.5–8 cm in diameter. The height of the plant varies from 10 to 35 cm depending on age and growing conditions.
The plant is intended for protected cultivation, prefers partial shade or diffused light, as well as a slightly acidic substrate. The variety is sensitive to sharp temperature changes, which can cause bud drop.
