Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a compact, dense, evergreen shrub with a rounded or dome-shaped crown. The leaves are elliptical or lanceolate, dark green in color, and lighter when emerging.

The flowers are characterized by narrow, elongated, wavy petals resembling spider legs. The coloration is bicolor: bright pink with a white border and often with a speckled pattern in the throat. The plant grows slowly, reaching a height of 40 to 100 cm by the age of ten.

Flowering occurs in the spring-summer period, from April–May to June. The variety belongs to USDA hardiness zone 8 and prefers acidic, humus-rich, well-drained soils. It can grow in both sun and partial shade and requires protection from direct scorching rays.

Due to its compact size, the variety is used in landscape design for container cultivation, creating borders, group plantings, and decorating rock gardens and small gardens.
