Deciduous rhododendron forms a rounded shrub from 1 to 2 meters in height and width. Foliage turns yellow-red in autumn.
Flowering occurs at mid-season, in the period from May to June. The white-colored flowers have yellow spots and a light fragrance. The plant is adapted to severe winter conditions and does not require crown pruning.
