The tubers are small, 3–5 cm in diameter, oval or round in shape. They have smooth reddish-violet skin and light yellow flesh. The best taste qualities manifest after long-term storage in a cellar.
The variety is sensitive to soil depletion. It is recommended to observe crop rotation and not to grow it in the same place for more than 2–3 years in a row to prevent the spread of diseases and pests.
