The variety was obtained through clonal selection from the British Columbia Blue variety and belongs to the BC cooking type. The tubers have an oval shape, medium to large size, and medium-depth eyes.
The variety is sensitive to late blight on foliage and requires regular fungicidal protection. It has medium or reduced resistance to common scab and medium resistance to mechanical damage.
