The variety was obtained by crossing the Maris Peer and Charlotte varieties. It belongs to the "first early" category and is intended for commercial production.
The tubers have smooth skin and shallow eyes. The plants form a semi-erect bush, the flowers are reddish-purple, and the sprouts are pink. The flesh has a creamy consistency and is resistant to mechanical damage and discoloration.
The variety possesses resistance to late blight and scab, although potential susceptibility to skin spot is noted.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
