The tubers have an oblong, often cylindrical or lumpy shape with shallow eyes. The plant is tall, with erect stems that, along with the leaves, may have distinct purple pigmentation; the variety is characterized by a high flowering capacity.
The growing period is up to 160 days. The variety has low yield and is sensitive to Phytophthora infestans and viral diseases. The tubers are distinguished by good keeping quality due to thick skin and retain their blue-violet flesh color after thermal processing.
