Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a local landrace selected in the Attergau region of Upper Austria. The plants are characterized by a tall stem, reaching about 130 cm, which determines their medium resistance to lodging.

The variety has a medium yield and an average thousand kernel weight. The crude protein content in the grain ranges from 13.5% to 15.4%. It is suitable for extensive organic farming due to its good ability to suppress weeds.

It is traditionally used in the food industry, primarily in baking. As a local variety, it has not undergone intensive breeding for uniformity.
