The variety is characterized as a tall plant with medium heading and maturity periods. Resistance to lodging is rated as low to medium.

The plant possesses very high resistance to yellow rust and good resistance to Fusarium head blight. Resistance to powdery mildew is at a low to medium level; resistance to Septoria leaf blotch and eyespot is medium. The variety shows resistance to common bunt.
