The variety belongs to the category of elite genotypes and is adapted for cultivation in the conditions of the Paris Basin, and is also being studied for suitability for the Northern Steppe of Ukraine. The plant possesses specific stem height parameters that differ from standard varieties.

Grapeli is classified as a variety with low susceptibility to fungal diseases, in particular, it is used in studies of septoria infection. Grain quality indicators, including protein, glutenin, and gliadin content, are assessed as standard or acceptable.

In some documents, the variety is mentioned as sensitive to the effects of certain herbicides, for example, chlortoluron, which requires consideration when choosing plant protection products.
