The variety is used in breeding programs and international trials, in particular in the Eastern European Regional Winter Wheat Yield Trials. In scientific research, the variety was used in tissue culture experiments, including the use of anther culture to obtain doubled haploids.
Regarding disease resistance, the presence of powdery mildew resistance genes other than Pm8 is noted in the variety. The variety was also involved in comparative trials to study disease resistance under various environmental conditions.
