The variety belongs to the mid-season maturity group and is characterized by a "hard" grain type. In the forest-steppe zone of the Central Black Earth region of Russia, the variety was classified as having low winter hardiness, however, it shows high responsiveness to improved agronomic conditions and intensive cultivation technologies.

In scientific research, the variety is often used as an object for grain quality analysis and the study of genetic resistance to phytopathogens, particularly Fusarium head blight. The productivity of the variety directly depends on growing conditions and applied agricultural practices.
