The variety Ritmo is characterized as mid-season and has medium stem height. In agronomic studies, this variety was considered as bread wheat, however, early publications noted difficulties with its yield and grain quality.
The variety is classified as highly susceptible to Fusarium head blight and Wheat dwarf virus. Its resistance to leaf diseases requires constant monitoring with the use of fungicides.
