The plant is distinguished by a very long straw reaching 1.8 meters, which makes the variety prone to lodging on fertile soils. It possesses good resistance to frost, wind, and humidity, as well as high competitiveness against weeds and resistance to a number of diseases.
Varieties of this group are late-maturing and characterized by uneven ripening. The yield is about 2–2.5 t/ha. The grain is hard and traditionally used for pasta and biscuit production; however, due to its physicochemical properties, it does not meet modern standards of the baking industry.
