The variety is a winter form of wheat. In breeding practice, it is considered a representative of the first generation of durum wheat varieties bred in Martonvásár and serves as an object for analyzing the evolution of grain technological qualities.

Gluten quality and grain yellow color intensity of this variety are lower compared to later breeding lines developed after 2010. Data on plant height and disease resistance are absent in publications.
