Variety description

The variety was previously known under the name Galanth and breeding number FR 550-91 r. It was obtained by crossing the varieties Solaris and Muscat Bleu. The bush is vigorous, the vine matures well. The variety is characterized as dual-purpose, suitable for fresh consumption and for the production of dessert wines.
Clusters are of medium or large size, loose, which ensures resistance to grey mold. Berries are large, round or blunt-ovate in shape, the color varies from red to blue-black. The pulp is firm and crunchy, the taste is harmonious with a muscat flavor, sugar content reaches 23–25%.
The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, which allows for a reduction in the use of fungicides during cultivation. Due to its decorative leaves and low maintenance, it can be used for landscaping.
