The variety is a spontaneous tetraploid mutation of the Royal grape and belongs to table varieties intended for fresh consumption, cultivation in protected ground, and raisin production. The plant is characterized by high vigor and large leaves.

Clusters are very large, winged, with a strong flat peduncle. Berries are spherical, black-violet in color, 40–44 mm in diameter, have firm skin and sweet crisp flesh with 1–2 small seeds, without muscat flavor.

The variety is of mid or mid-late maturity group, with a yield of about 3 kg per 1 sq. m of trellis. The crop is sensitive to frosts, prone to ovary shedding, susceptible to downy mildew and gray mold, and requires grafting onto vigorous rootstocks and thinning of inflorescences.
