The variety has small cylindrical clusters 8–10 cm long. The berries are slightly oval-shaped with a dark blue bloom, and the pulp is firm with colorless juice. The crop is characterized by late bud break and a requirement for short pruning.

The variety is classified as a wine grape and was historically used to produce delicate wines with a light color, high acidity, and low alcohol content. Due to its sensitivity to powdery mildew and humidity, the variety requires favorable heat and light conditions, demonstrating a tendency for late ripening.
