Variety description

The variety is the result of a cross between the Baroque and Chardonnay varieties. The vine has moderate to weak vigor. The bunches are small, weighing up to 100 grams, with small and round berries. Young leaves are light green with bronze spots; mature leaves are small, round, and five-lobed.

The variety is characterized by limited yield and reduced susceptibility to Botrytis cinerea. Wines made from Liliorila are notable for their full body, intense fruity or floral aroma, and often relatively low acidity. Due to its resistance to rot, the grape can be used for the production of sweet wines, including botrytized ones.
