The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Olivet Blanche and Alphonse Lavallée. The bush has moderate to high growth vigor, requires tying to a trellis, and is characterized by late bud break.

Bunches are medium to large in size, conical, and moderately compact. Berries are ellipsoid, covered with a heavy bloom, have thick, weak skin and firm flesh with a simple flavor.

The variety has good fertility and resistance to Botrytis cinerea, but is sensitive to downy mildew, powdery mildew, Phomopsis, and drought. It has low susceptibility to berry drop.
