The variety is rootstock material and is not intended for berry production, as it has male flowers and does not form full-sized clusters. It possesses good vigor; however, varieties grafted onto it may exhibit a difference in the thickening rate of the scion and rootstock stems, which requires additional support.

The plant possesses high resistance to the root form of phylloxera and fungal diseases, and is distinguished by good winter hardiness. It prefers moist, permeable, acidic and slightly acidic soils, tolerating high active lime content poorly. It propagates well by cuttings.
