The variety is a complex interspecific hybrid bred using genetic material from Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. The vines are characterized by medium vigor. The clusters are loose and comparable in size to Riesling, with medium-sized berries with thick skins that develop a pink hue upon full maturity.

The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and botrytis bunch rot. Agronomic management is complicated by the fragility of the shoots, the sensitivity of the foliage to sulfur treatments, and susceptibility to magnesium and potassium deficiencies. The variety is characterized by high yield, which requires cluster thinning.

Ripening begins 10 days earlier than in Riesling, and the harvest window can be extended until the end of October. Wines from this variety feature stable acidity and a diverse flavor and aroma profile, including notes of apricot, ripe apple, lime, and blackcurrant.
