Xarello Rosado, also known as Xarel-lo Vermell or Pansa Roja, is an early-ripening variety. The clusters of the variety are compact, medium or smaller than medium in size, and have a truncated conical shape. The berries are small, short elliptical in shape, and differ from the parent white variety by the presence of thick skin.

The thick skin of the berries provides the variety with good resistance to fungal diseases. Wines produced from this variety have a color ranging from yellow-orange to dark salmon and contain notes of grapefruit, apple, pear, apricot, mint, and earthy undertones. The variety is rare and is grown primarily in the Alella area.
