The variety Würzer is a technical grape variety of the species Vitis vinifera. The genetic origin of the variety was confirmed by DNA analysis, which showed the presence of parental forms Roter Traminer and Müller-Thurgau.
The grapes are used exclusively for the creation of white wines, including dessert wines. Wines from this variety are distinguished by an intense aroma with pronounced fruit nuances and freshness. Morphologically, the berries are characterized by a green skin color.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
