The variety is vigorous with an upright shoot growth habit and moderate lateral shoot formation. Vine wood maturation is good. Bunches are medium to large in size, cylindro-conical, medium density, often with a wing. Berries are medium, round, dark violet in color, with a neutral taste and uncolored juice.

The variety is characterized by quite high yield. Resistance to downy mildew is low, to powdery mildew is somewhat increased, berries are not affected by gray mold. Frost resistance is up to -22°C. In regions of risky agriculture, winter covering is recommended.

The grapes are used for creating single-varietal red wines or in blends. Wines possess soft tannins and aromas of cherry and plum, and are well-suited for aging in oak barrels.
