Variety description

The variety is a crossbreed of Madeleine Royale and Kovidinka varieties. The leaf is kidney-shaped, slightly dissected, rugose, with medium density pubescence on the underside. Young shoots have green-colored internodes.

Bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical or conical, often winged; density varies from medium to dense. Berries are round, white, and covered with a light waxy bloom.

The variety possesses low resistance to fungal diseases and is highly susceptible to grey mold. Due to early bud break, it is prone to risk of damage by spring frosts and requires winter covering. Used in winemaking for the production of neutral white wines.
